Eagle River Presbyterian Church

About this church

Eagle River Presbyterian Church in Avon worships Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in person and by livestream. The service lasts about an hour and follows a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) order that includes prayer, confession, a sermon, a children's message, and both traditional and contemporary music. Childcare opens at 9:15. Children may use the “Prayground” near the front, take a worship bag, or move to a classroom after the children's message. The church recommends arriving a few minutes early for the lobby welcome and staying afterward for refreshments.

Music is a visible part of ERPC's identity: a sanctuary choir, praise band, congregational soloists, and other groups all serve in worship. The congregation links faith with action through Bible and book groups, lay leadership, volunteer teams, and Loaves and Fishes, a free weekly community dinner. Children and youth participate as readers, musicians, Sunday School helpers, and technology volunteers; older students also have periodic Confirmation and summer mission opportunities. The visitor guidance fits the mountain setting—casual clothing, ski clothes, and post-worship hiking attire are all treated as ordinary. A family can remain together in the sanctuary or use the classroom transition, while someone evaluating the church remotely can watch the same 9:30 gathering and explore the sermon library before coming to Nottingham Ranch Road.
