About this church

Journey Church in Castle Rock meets in person and online Sundays at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:15 a.m. Fresh coffee is available, and drinks and food are permitted in the auditorium. Journey Kids provides infant, preschool, and elementary classes at every service; first-time families can preregister or arrive ten to fifteen minutes early for check-in. The system allows volunteers to contact parents during worship and records allergy information. The church’s purpose is helping people take a next step with Jesus through knowing God, finding freedom, discovering purpose, and making a difference.

Middle-school students gather Sundays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and high-school students from 6:00 to 8:00 for age-specific worship and teaching. Semester-based student groups meet Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 and emphasize Scripture, prayer, relationships, and discipleship. Journey’s mission partnerships include Musana Community Development in Uganda, Denver Street School for students who need a more personalized high-school setting, and Wellspring Community. The church also supports church planting through pastoral residencies and leadership development. Communion uses bread and grape juice in remembrance of Jesus.
