Westminster Presbyterian Church

About this church

Westminster Presbyterian Church gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. at 1709 West Elizabeth Street in Fort Collins, with a livestream for remote participation. Its service follows a recognizably Presbyterian pattern: call to worship, confession and assurance, hymns, a children’s message, Scripture and sermon, affirmation of faith, prayers, blessing, and passing the peace. Music uses the Glory to God hymnal, with chancel choir participation through much of the school year and bell choir on selected Sundays.

Children begin in the sanctuary and, during the school year, are dismissed after the younger-church message for hands-on, Bible-based classes. Older children connect Scripture with mission projects; in summer, children remain in worship. A parent-and-child nursery space is available as needed. Westminster’s wider service includes Habitat for Humanity builds, monthly meals at the Fort Collins Rescue Mission, support for clean-water work in Malawi, and participation in the local Interfaith Council. It is also certified as a Presbyterian Earth Care Congregation. Together, those details portray a traditional worshiping community with sustained local and global service rather than a generic neighborhood church listing.
