Green Mountain Presbyterian Church

About this church

Green Mountain Presbyterian Church gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. in Lakewood, with an online option for people joining from home. The congregation identifies itself as a family-friendly Matthew 25 church and presents welcome as more than a slogan: clothing ranges from casual to suits and dresses, and guests are explicitly told there is no obligation to give. That combination makes the first visit easy to approach without guessing about dress or offering expectations.

As a Presbyterian congregation, Green Mountain is governed by elders elected and ordained through the congregation. Its ministries, education, leadership, and community life are organized around growing in faith together and serving neighbors. A first-time visitor can attend in person or preview worship online, then use the Sunday gathering to learn where age-specific programs and service opportunities meet. Arriving a few minutes before 10:00 leaves time to find the sanctuary and ask any practical questions. Families should verify the current children’s schedule directly, because the official pages reviewed establish a family welcome but do not provide a detailed weekly classroom timetable alongside the worship hour.
