The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Strasburg

About this church

The Strasburg, Colorado meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 55126 E Wolf Creek Dr is about 22.3 miles from the nearest other Latter-day Saint building, in Centennial. Here in Strasburg, it has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating.

The Strasburg Ward meets at 9 a.m., and the Bennett Branch follows at 10:30 a.m., each with its own hour-long sacrament meeting of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members, plus a second hour of classes afterward, including Primary for children. There's no cost to attend the Strasburg Ward, and no collection plate is passed around. Sunday dress is common, though a first-time visitor need not worry about it when visiting the Strasburg Ward. Two congregations sharing this rural building at different hours reflects how such groups are organized by area. Because local schedules can change over time, calling ahead of a first visit to Strasburg is a sensible step.
