Shoreline Church

About this church

Shoreline Church gathers Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 287 Shore Road in Old Lyme. The congregation presents itself as a community open to everyone, with a mission to reach people, equip believers, and send them into service. An official watch-live link is available for those who want to experience worship online before attending. The church also maintains a calendar and next-steps page for current ministries, events, prayer, and volunteer opportunities rather than publishing every program time on the homepage.

Shoreline began in December 2002 in the home of pastors Michael and Meredith Calo. It met at Old Saybrook Middle School and later in an Old Saybrook business park before purchasing the Old Lyme Summer Chapel, renovating it, and moving there in October 2010. Its stated values include love, Scripture-rooted worship, service, evangelism, discipleship, stewardship, unity, holiness, and mission. The church describes its long-term aim as creating an environment where ordinary people become witnesses for righteousness and truth. For someone comparing Old Lyme churches, the historic chapel setting, contemporary online access, founding story, and explicit focus on both local care and wider mission are the clearest distinguishing details.
