Christ Community Presbyterian Church

About this church

Christ Community Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation in West Hartford. Its stated priorities are to exalt Christ, grow in Christ, and share Christ with one another and the world. Sunday worship is shaped by Scripture throughout: the bulletin contains the sung music, prayers, creeds, and sermon text, and the congregation celebrates the Lord’s Supper weekly. Community groups and men’s, women’s, and prayer groups meet during the week. From September through early June, Sunday School serves people from age two through adulthood, with a short Covenant Kids gathering between worship and classes for children through seventh grade.

The church currently publishes a summer worship time of 10:00 a.m. It meets in the lower-level Fellowship Hall at Farmington Baptist Church, 155 Mountain Road, with access and all parking from the adjacent Stop & Shop lot; visitors are asked not to use the upper lot. Nursery care is available for newborns through age four, and approved children’s volunteers complete Connecticut background checks. Because Sunday School pauses during summer and the site does not publish the post-summer worship hour alongside the current schedule, visitors planning for fall should confirm the service time directly before attending.
