Cross and Crown Baptist Church

About this church

Cross and Crown Baptist Church in Cantonment holds Sunday morning worship at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday service at 7:00 p.m. First through sixth graders have Power Church during the Sunday morning service. A Sunday afternoon gathering follows lunch, but the church's own pages conflict on whether it begins at 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.; anyone planning to attend that session should confirm the time directly. The visitor page describes a fuller Sunday rhythm of small-group Sunday School, main worship, fellowship over lunch, and afternoon Bible study.

Founded in 1980 in the Pensacola area, Cross and Crown identifies as an Independent Baptist congregation. Its detailed articles of faith address biblical authority, believer's baptism, the local church, and the Great Commission. Youth ministry combines biblical teaching with age-specific activities, and the missions page documents support beyond the local congregation. The clearest first-visit choice is the published 11:00 morning service. The transparent afternoon discrepancy is important because relying on only one site page could make a guest an hour early or late; the church calendar or office should resolve it.
