Barwick Road Church

About this church

Barwick Road Church is a diverse Delray Beach congregation centered on loving God, loving others, and sharing the message of Jesus. Small-group Bible studies begin Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30. The service generally lasts about eighty minutes and combines traditional and contemporary music, projected lyrics, prayer, a roughly thirty-minute Bible message, and an invitation for faith, baptism, membership, or personal prayer. Dress ranges from jeans to suits and dresses, with no dress code. Guests are welcomed by a First Impressions team, receive a bulletin, may sit anywhere except designated front seating, and are not expected to give money.

Reserved first-time parking is near the Worship Center, and the church recommends arriving ten to fifteen minutes early. The buildings and restrooms are described as wheelchair accessible. ASL interpretation is provided during worship, with front seating reserved for Deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees. Child care covers newborns through age two and uses a digital paging system; preschool classes begin at 9:15, and preschool Children's Church and Kidz Connect for grades one through five meet during 10:30 worship. Pew Bibles and projected verses are available. The site describes prayer counselors and age-based ministries, but it does not state hearing-loop availability, child check-in procedures, volunteer screening, Communion frequency, sensory accommodations, or livestream timing.
