One Fire Church

About this church

One Fire Church gathers in Eustis for a testimony-centered Sunday service at 10 a.m. Worship opens the morning, followed by a message and stories from men and women about changes in their lives since following Jesus. Friday begins with a 7 p.m. potluck and moves into worship at 8, creating a more extended setting for prayer, confession, surrender, praise, and teaching. A Wednesday service at 7 combines worship with biblical instruction and offers prayer or counseling, but currently does not provide childcare.

The congregation grew from a home youth Bible study started by John and Mia Tompkins with one teenage guitarist and a pan of shared food. The group took the gospel into central Florida streets and parks, moved into larger buildings as it expanded, and eventually became One Fire. Outreach has included Son Shine Acres Farm, a men's discipleship house; Refined Variety Shop; and the Refill Station, which provides farm-fresh food and refreshments through a get-loved, give-love model. Visitors can choose Sunday for testimonies, Friday for a potluck and longer worship night, or Wednesday for midweek teaching. Families planning Wednesday should make separate childcare arrangements and verify current program details.
