Awaken Church Fort Lauderdale

About this church

Awaken Church Fort Lauderdale gathers in person and online Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Refuel and youth meet onsite every Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The church also invites people to a Saturday prayer gathering on Zoom at 9 a.m., with the access link and prayer-request form on its homepage. Its Fort Lauderdale campus is on Lauderdale Manor Drive. Newcomer material calls the church a “home away from home” and points families toward Awaken Kids and Awaken Youth without publishing separate Sunday check-in ages, so parents should ask what is available during worship.

Awaken's mission is to love God, love people, serve the community, and become leaders; its vision is to awaken cities through passionate people. The church's stated values include humility, transparency, restoration, equipping every generation, cultural awareness, hospitality, diversity, creativity, fellowship, and freedom. Life Groups meet regularly to build community and deepen faith, although the public group page does not assign one universal time. Core beliefs cover the Trinity, creation, Scripture, salvation through Jesus, the church's Gospel mission, and Christ's return. A first-time guest can choose the Sunday room or livestream, while Tuesday provides a defined midweek option for Refuel and youth. Saturday prayer is remote rather than a second campus service and requires Zoom access.
