Lighthouse Worship Center

About this church

Lighthouse Worship Center in Fort Lauderdale gathers in person and online Sunday at 11 a.m. and Wednesday at 7 p.m. The fourth Wednesday is a virtual-only discussion of practical, spiritual, and everyday topics on Facebook and YouTube. The church describes the Sunday experience as authentic worship and Bible teaching in a come-as-you-are setting. Children's Church for ages five through eleven meets on the first and third Sundays at 11:15, after praise and worship; parents register children in the lobby before the service.

This multigenerational Pentecostal congregation summarizes its purpose as exalting Christ through worship, equipping the church through teaching, and strengthening believers through community. Its ministry directory offers concrete ways to participate, including music and worship arts, Sunday School, youth, hospitality, men's and women's groups, media, evangelism, nursing-home ministry, and street outreach. Feeding and missions opportunities are explicitly open to nonmembers, making them accessible entry points for someone who wants to serve before formally joining. The church's community work includes a Feed the Children initiative, and its lead pastor also serves as a Broward County law-enforcement chaplain. Families should note the twice-monthly children's schedule; on other Sundays, they can contact Lighthouse for the current arrangements rather than assume the same dismissal pattern.
