Activate Church

About this church

Activate Church in Gainesville gathers Sunday at 11 a.m. for worship, fellowship, and a message for adults and families. The service meets in Suite 300 on Southwest 47th Avenue, and the church presents it as an open weekend experience where everyone is welcome. Its connect card lets first-time and returning visitors ask about baptism, membership, volunteering, community groups, or following Jesus, providing a clear next step after the service even when they are not ready to make a formal commitment.

The church's mission is to activate purpose through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Its vision expands that purpose into inspiring vision, sharing knowledge, and building strong families. Four practices explain how it intends to work: connect by loving God and people, serve by using individual gifts, give time and resources, and grow as disciples who reflect Jesus to others. Activate's beliefs are broadly evangelical, affirming the Triune God, the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith in Christ, the church as Christ's visible body, and Jesus' return. The current site does not publish a detailed nursery, children's, youth, accessibility, or midweek schedule, so households needing those arrangements should use the connect form before attending. The reliable public entry point is the single 11 a.m. Sunday gathering.
