Creekside Community Church

About this church

Creekside Community Church is a Gainesville congregation committed to treasuring Jesus Christ in every part of life for the joy of all people. Expository preaching, Scripture-shaped music, Communion, prayer, Christian education, children's formation, and small groups reflect that mission. Sunday worship is casual and lasts a little over an hour. Background-checked volunteers lead Creekside Kids from birth through fifth grade, while children may also remain with their families. The church's One Another Groups turn New Testament commands about mutual care into smaller communities across Gainesville and surrounding areas.

Sunday education begins at 9:00 a.m. for adults and students, with child care provided; the church advises checking for occasional off weeks. Worship begins at 10:30 and includes music, sermon, and Communion. The worship center sits at the back of the property, so drivers should continue through the campus to the rear parking lot. Sunday evening youth for grades six through twelve and Treasure Seekers for children meet from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Other youth Bible studies follow different age-specific rhythms, including third Thursdays and alternating Sundays, and often meet in homes. Families should use the ministry page for those groups rather than assuming every student gathering takes place at the church.
