Overcomers International

About this church

Overcomers International is a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered church in Gainesville focused on worship, healing, deliverance, discipleship, and family restoration. Sunday worship begins at 11 a.m. and is livestreamed, Wednesday Bible study meets at 7 p.m., and intercessory prayer gathers Thursday at 6 p.m. A typical Sunday lasts about ninety minutes to two hours, moving from praise and worship into Bible-based preaching and a time for prayer or altar ministry. Guests may wear anything from casual to dressy; there is no stated dress code. Free parking is available on site, and a welcome team can help newcomers find their way.

Children's ministry runs during the main Sunday service with age-appropriate teaching, worship, and activities. The congregation also offers ministries for youth, women, men, prayer, Bible study, and outreach through evangelism, food drives, clothing distributions, and community events. Its beliefs affirm biblical authority, the Trinity, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit's gifts and fruit, divine healing, and Christ's bodily return. Prayer requests may be submitted confidentially online, and first-time visitors can notify the church in advance. Online material leaves the wheelchair route, sensory and listening accommodations, family check-in, worker vetting, Communion custom, and relationship between livestream and in-room start unresolved.
