Lake Asbury Baptist Church

About this church

Lake Asbury Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation in Green Cove Springs, planted in 1982 to serve the Lake Asbury area. It identifies Scripture as the reliable authority for belief and life and seeks to reach people with Christian truth and love. Worship, Bible groups, ministries from infancy through twelfth grade, missions, and a monthly multigenerational choir connect families and adults with the congregation.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. The homepage lists Bible study at both hours, while the visitor page says Bible groups begin at 9:00 and later refers to 9:15; visitors should arrive by 9:00 and confirm the classroom start. Nursery for infants through preschool and children’s worship are specifically available during the 10:30 service. Wednesday dinner and worship begin at 5:00 p.m., while children and youth ministry begin at 6:15; the homepage condenses the Wednesday schedule to 6:00. These overlapping first-party listings make direct confirmation useful for a first midweek visit. The current official address is 2674 Henley Road. The first Sunday of each month includes children and teenagers in the multigenerational choir, and a dedicated preschool area supports children with special needs through trained teachers.
