Lamb of God Lutheran Church

About this church

Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Haines City begins Sunday School at 8:45 a.m. and English worship at 10:00, with the English service livestreamed. Spanish worship follows after a fellowship interval. The church's current welcome text and worship-schedule page list the Spanish service at 11:45 a.m., while another current worship page and one homepage schedule block display 12:30 p.m.; Spanish-speaking visitors should confirm that time directly until the site is reconciled. The congregation intentionally brings both language communities together for coffee and fellowship between services.

Lamb of God is a multicultural ELCA congregation whose worship balances Word and Sacrament, congregational singing, and carefully prepared music. Its outreach includes a community food pantry, a textile-donation shed, language programming, and a local quick-help guide. The congregation began in 1989 as an ELCA outreach effort, first worshiping in the Haines City Kiwanis Activity Center before forming a charter membership. For newcomers, its distinguishing strengths are the two language expressions, a shared social hour rather than fully separate congregations, and a clear connection between Lutheran worship and practical assistance in the surrounding community.
