Saint Madeleine Catholic Church

About this church

St. Madeleine Catholic Church in High Springs celebrates a Saturday vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday Masses at 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. The shrine hosts Mass at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Eucharistic Adoration is available Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while an Anointing Mass is held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Friday each month.

The parish sits in a quiet country setting north of Gainesville, with ample land for the church, shrine, cemetery, family life center, activity center, and easy parking. Parish teaching places the Eucharist at the center of Catholic life and asks worshipers to approach Mass with reverence in mind, behavior, and dress. Religious education and youth leadership support families, while liturgical and service ministries create roles for adults. The range of weekend and weekday options makes the parish accessible to different schedules; visitors should check the calendar for Holy Days and special observances, especially when planning around the shrine's adoration and anointing times.
