First Baptist Church of Homosassa

About this church

First Baptist Church of Homosassa offers Sunday Bible study at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30 at 10540 West Yulee Drive. Nursery care is available during worship. Wednesday prayer service and programs for children and teenagers all begin at 6:30 p.m. The congregation belongs to the Nature Coast Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention and describes itself as a close-knit church family made up of people from varied backgrounds.

Families have clearly separated age pathways. Children ages four through fifth grade attend Sunday School at 9:00, children’s worship alongside the 10:30 service, and Team Kids Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45. Teenagers use the youth building next door for Sunday Bible study and Wednesday youth group, which combines worship, teaching, and small-group connection. Adults can choose among three coed 9:00 classes—topical study, Great Commission application, or verse-by-verse Bible study—and off-campus home groups meet on different days. Guests wanting the broadest introduction can pair a class with 10:30 worship; parents should allow extra arrival time for the appropriate building or check-in. The official site also links live services on Facebook and YouTube.
