First Baptist Church of Interlachen

About this church

First Baptist Church of Interlachen begins Sunday with all-ages Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:50 and an evening service at 6. Nursery is available during the education hour, and the church describes its gatherings as warm, friendly, and centered on God's Word. Children from prekindergarten through sixth grade begin worship with their families, then move to a controlled, age-appropriate environment for Bible stories, games, crafts, snacks, and practical application.

The congregation says it is “all about Jesus”: studying Scripture, gathering as God's people, and carrying out the Great Commission. Its children's ministry also introduces missions, with separate opportunities for elementary-age boys and girls to learn about missionaries and participate in projects. Students meet for Sunday School at 9:30 and Youth Night Wednesday at 7 p.m. Music is another route into church life, with choir rehearsal Sunday at 5, immediately before evening worship. This creates a full weekly pattern for households: education and worship Sunday morning, an optional evening return, and age-specific midweek ministry for teens. Travelers and local residents looking for a church home are explicitly invited. Families can confidently plan around the morning schedule, while special children's events and annual plans should be checked through the ministry page.
