First Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach

About this church

First Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach is a Baptist congregation focused on biblical teaching, prayer, worship, stewardship, fellowship, and Christian witness. Its stated mission is to nurture personal faith in Jesus and prepare people for outreach in fulfillment of the Great Commission. Ministries for women, men, couples, youth, missions, and practical care connect congregational growth with visiting people who are sick or homebound and helping neighbors obtain food and clothing.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. in person, followed by Celebration Worship at 11:00 both in the sanctuary and online. The church-services page also lists Bible study at 7:00 p.m.; visitors should confirm the weekday on the current site because the extracted listing publishes the hour without keeping its day label attached. Youth ministry aims to support spiritual growth and introduce young people to Christ, but no fixed youth meeting time or nursery age range appears on the public ministry page. The current lead pastor began serving in February 2025 and describes a ministry of equipping people in Jacksonville Beach and beyond through God’s Word. First-time guests can preview online worship or use the contact page for children’s arrangements, accessibility, and current Bible-study details. Special events use separate dates and should not be assumed to repeat weekly.
