First Baptist Church Lake Alfred

About this church

First Baptist Church Lake Alfred is a community-connected congregation centered on sharing Jesus through worship, Bible study, children’s and student formation, fellowship, and assistance such as the United H.O.P.E. Food Pantry. Seven adult Sunday School options let newcomers try different groups, while Children’s Church gives elementary-age children their own worship experience during the sermon hour. A coordinated Wednesday evening combines a meal with student, child, adult, and women’s studies.

Sunday School and adult Bible study begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:45. Children in grades one through five can attend Children’s Church during that service. Wednesday’s meal begins at 5:00 p.m. Novus Student Ministries starts at 6:15, while nursery, prekindergarten and kindergarten, grades one through five, corporate Bible study in the chapel, and women’s Bible study begin at 6:30. Because the official site gives the food pantry’s name but not a dependable distribution hour in its accessible text, people seeking groceries should contact the church rather than arriving during the Wednesday meal. The ministry pages separate age groups and meeting rooms, so families can review those locations before check-in. Current events and limited-duration studies, such as a fourteen-week women’s course, should be distinguished from the standing weekly schedule.
