St. Peter's Lake Mary

About this church

St. Peter’s Lake Mary is an Episcopal congregation whose Sunday schedule gives visitors a choice between an 8:30 a.m. traditional Holy Communion service and an 11:00 a.m. contemporary Holy Communion service. Christian education meets at 10:00 between the two. Worship is rooted in the Book of Common Prayer, with Scripture, preaching, prayer, and the Eucharist at the center. The church also offers online Morning Prayer on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. and in-person Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 5:45. The Rev. Jeremy Bergstrom serves as rector.

Families will find a nursery for children from six weeks through preschool age and Kids’ Church for kindergarten through fifth grade. Kids check in at the Family Life Center near the playground, join age-appropriate activities during the sermon, and return to their families afterward; nursery children are picked up before worship concludes. St. Peter’s also operates a preschool and kindergarten during the week. That combination of sacramental worship, two musical settings, weekday prayer, and family programs makes the Rinehart Road campus useful to both longtime Episcopalians and people learning the tradition. Service details and children’s procedures can change, so consult the official worship guide before a first visit.
