Christ Community Presbyterian Church

About this church

Christ Community Presbyterian Church is a Lakeland congregation centered on gospel worship, discipleship, children’s formation, student ministry, and community groups. Its Sunday service includes the whole household at the beginning before older children move to age-based teaching. Comfortable attire ranges from casual clothing to more dressed-up choices, with no single expected style.

Sunday worship meets from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Infant and toddler rooms are available from the start. Children in prekindergarten through fifth grade begin with their families and are dismissed before the sermon into Roots, Branches, or Buds and Blossoms classes. Students in grades six through twelve meet Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for discipleship groups, worship, snacks, games, and age- and gender-based discussion; once a month, a Sunday Funday replaces the normal youth night with an activity at another location. Community groups meet on varied schedules and require contact with the church. Parents should arrive before 9:30 for young-child check-in and remember that elementary children participate in the opening portion of worship.
