About this church
New Life Baptist Church of Carol City worships Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and presents a Wednesday 7 p.m. gathering through Facebook Live. Its first-visitor guide says clothing ranges from traditional Sunday dress to casual, with people encouraged to come as they are. Nursery services and Bible study serve children from six months through age ten with lessons, crafts, and games; a parent or guardian signs each child in and out. Fourth Sundays emphasize youth and young adults. The congregation describes itself as welcoming people across ethnic and religious backgrounds and as a community where no one stands alone.
Founded as Carol City Baptist Church in 1958, the congregation later merged with New Life Baptist and became known for mission and outreach, bus ministry, and a Christian school. Its purpose joins prayerful worship, biblical teaching and application, fellowship, evangelism in word and action, and using personal gifts to serve God and neighbors. Pastor Nathaniel Cummings’s official biography records Christian-education and communications study, youth outreach, gospel media, Miami Baptist Association leadership, and service with the National African American Fellowship of the Southern Baptist Convention. A ministry directory names music, prayer, children, youth, and evangelism leaders. The site does not clarify service length, Communion or baptism procedures, nursery worker screening, parking, mobility or hearing provisions, or whether Sunday worship is livestreamed.
