Restored Glory Christian Center

About this church

Restored Glory Christian Center meets at 1287 South Jefferson Street in Monticello for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m., in person and online. The church describes itself as Holy Spirit-led and focused on evangelism, discipleship, and restoration through God's Word. Its L.I.F.E. mission is to preach, speak, teach, and embody life in the community, while a broader ministry vision uses outreach, arts, technology, and teaching to transform lives for God's glory.

The congregation began in April 2007 with five members. Four months later it held its first Wham Bam School Jam, distributing more than 150 backpacks and school supplies; the annual outreach has continued and expanded. Other community connections include local leaders and organizations featured through the church's broadcasts and service projects. Glory Kids uses music and creative media, including a current 2026 project produced by the children. Recorded services and the Restoring Your Glory broadcasts allow people to explore the church online. For visitors, the defining combination is a single 10:00 Sunday gathering, charismatic worship and teaching, a long-running back-to-school outreach, and a congregation that deliberately treats media and the arts as ministry tools rather than optional extras.
