Mount Dora Church of Christ

About this church

Mount Dora Church of Christ is a Bible-centered, mission-minded, and family-oriented congregation whose local history dates to 1932. English and Spanish Bible classes and worship make Sunday a bilingual sequence. Children begin worship with the full congregation and then may leave before the sermon for Kingdom Kids, combining intergenerational participation with an age-appropriate lesson, songs, and activities in the Youth Room.

The church’s current change notice says English Bible class begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m., English worship at 10:00, Spanish Bible class at 10:00, and Spanish worship at 11:15. The separate Service Times page still says Spanish worship at 11:00, while an older homepage block shows English worship at 10:30 and evening worship at 5:00. Because the explicit change notice appears newest, its 10:00 and 11:15 worship hours should take precedence, but visitors should confirm before travel while stale blocks remain visible. Kingdom Kids begins after children participate in the opening of English worship. The About page traces the congregation from meetings in homes and a public baseball field to its Donnelly Street property, connecting today’s bilingual ministry with a long local presence.
