New Smyrna Beach Church Of Christ

About this church

New Smyrna Beach Church of Christ meets at 1340 Old Mission Road in New Smyrna Beach. The congregation publishes Sunday Bible classes at 9:30 a.m., Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., and Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 p.m. Its visitor guide describes a simple service without theatrical production: congregational singing, prayer, Bible teaching, weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper, and a freewill offering. Guests are not singled out, pressured to contribute, or expected to know every part of the service before arriving.

The congregation traces its local history to 1936, when members first gathered in a school. After worshiping at several sites, the church acquired its Old Mission Road property in 1999, broke ground in 2010, and moved into the present building in 2011. Its outreach includes support for Mount Dora Children’s Home, the Gifts of Love food bank, scholarships, and Eastern European Missions. That combination of long local roots and practical mission work gives visitors more context than a schedule alone. Confirm current classes and special events on the official site before traveling.
