The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Niceville

About this church

Niceville, Florida's meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 1100 Palm Boulevard, is the only one the directory lists for the city; the nearest other one is in Miramar Beach, about 11.1 miles away. The entrance, the parking lot, the restroom and the seating are all wheelchair accessible.

Three congregations meet here: Niceville 2nd Ward at 9 a.m., the Niceville YSA Branch at 10:30 a.m., and Niceville 1st Ward at 12 p.m. Niceville 2nd's sacrament meeting, like the other two, runs about an hour and includes hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from congregation members, followed by a second hour of classes with Primary for the youngest attendees. No charge is made for attending, and no collection plate is passed. Because Niceville's meeting times are set locally and can change from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is worth making.
