St. Thomas Episcopal Church

About this church

St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Palm Coast offers two expressions of Episcopal worship plus breakfast, education, nursery care, and children’s formation. The early service follows Rite I with traditional-language prayers and no music. The later Rite II service uses modern language with band and piano. This contrast lets visitors choose a quiet, historic form or a fuller blended gathering while remaining within the same sacramental tradition. Monthly parish-life and Episcopal Church Women groups add fellowship and service during the school year.

Traditional Rite I worship begins Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast and adult education are published at 9:00, followed by blended Rite II worship at 10:00. Nursery care for ages zero through three is available during the later service. The official children’s pages conflict on whether Sunday School for age five and older begins at 9:00 or during the 10:00 service; the newcomer page says 10:00, while the worship page says 9:00. Families should arrive by 9:00 or confirm the current classroom plan before Sunday. A separate six-week 2026 confirmation class begins September 13 at 10:10 a.m., so that dated notice should not be confused with the ordinary children’s schedule. The parish welcomes infants and toddlers to remain in worship when families prefer.
