11th Street Church of Christ

About this church

11th Street Church of Christ is a Church of Christ congregation in Palmetto, Florida, whose mission is to share God’s love and cultivate peace, unity, and joy. Bible teaching, worship, training, prayer, benevolence, and personal study support its vision of bringing people to faith and helping them remain faithful. In 2023 the church added Spanish-language ministry to Sunday evening worship after welcoming Spanish-speaking members and using translation technology to bridge the language gap. That bilingual gathering has since included baptisms and outreach within the area’s Spanish-speaking community.

Sunday School for all ages begins at 8:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:00 and livestream on YouTube. English- and Spanish-language evening worship begins at 5:00 p.m. Monthly Sunday meetings occur at 4:00: training and women’s class on first Sundays, evangelism ministry on second Sundays, and women’s class on third Sundays; fourth and fifth Sundays omit those meetings. Wednesday Bible study begins at 7:00, except the fourth Wednesday, which is a prayer-and-song service at the same hour. Friday devotional meets by conference call at 7:00. The church is at 513 11th Street West. Check the calendar for area singings and lectureships that replace local events.
