Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church

About this church

Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church serves Pensacola with a full Reformed Sunday schedule: Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., morning worship from 10:30 to 11:45, and evening worship from 6:00 to 7:00. The pastor ordinarily preaches from a New Testament book in the morning and an Old Testament book in the evening. Covenant calls its worship “joyfully reverent,” with psalms and hymns commonly drawn from the Trinity Hymnal. Its doctrine is summarized by the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

Families are encouraged to worship together, and the congregation explicitly welcomes the sound of children in the service. Nursery care is available for ages zero through three, with a quiet room for parents who want to remain connected to worship. Dress spans casual, business casual, and more formal clothing, giving visitors room to choose. Weekly study continues on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.; women's Bible study and prayer meets Thursday at 10:00 a.m., and a men's group meets Friday at 6:00 a.m. These details make Covenant a particularly clear option for visitors seeking confessional Presbyterian teaching, two Sunday services, family-integrated worship, and structured weekday study.
