First Macedonia MB Church

About this church

First Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Punta Gorda holds an early Sunday service from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. The congregation describes its preaching and teaching as Bible-based and invites people from different racial and cultural backgrounds into worship. Children's Church is offered on first Sundays, while the current calendar lists youth trips, community activities, and other dated events that may affect the usual morning pattern.

Founded in 1933, First Macedonia's mission is to lead people to Christ, teach the Word of God, and carry out the work of its ministries. Brotherhood, women's ministry, youth, and children's programs create age- and life-stage connections. Food and produce distribution adds a practical community-care dimension, while church staff and volunteer information provide routes into service. The one-hour early gathering is useful for visitors with Sunday schedule constraints, but families seeking Children's Church should plan specifically for the first Sunday of the month. Because special youth and outreach events are published separately, checking the official calendar before traveling will help newcomers match their visit to the ministry they want to experience.
