Rockledge Presbyterian Church

About this church

Rockledge Presbyterian Church worships Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. in its sanctuary overlooking the Indian River. The early service is informal and nontraditional; the later service is more formal, features the choir and pipe organ, and is streamed for remote worshipers. Services generally last about an hour. Communion is normally celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at an open table, with gluten-free bread available.

Founded in 1877, RPC describes itself as the welcoming church on the river and connects worship with local and global service. Children are welcome in the sanctuary; a secure nursery serves ages birth through four from 9:30 until noon, and elementary Sunday School meets from 9:30 to 10:30. Community ties include Meals on Wheels, the Central Brevard Sharing Center, scouting groups, recovery meetings, and the church preschool. Visitors receive a printed order of worship, making the Presbyterian liturgy easy to follow even when it is unfamiliar.
