Faith Baptist Church of Sarasota

About this church

Faith Baptist Church of Sarasota is an independent Baptist congregation established in 1969 and now located on Fruitville Road. Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. and usually lasts about an hour, combining prayer, music, Scripture, and Bible-centered preaching. A pastor's class follows at 11:15, and both gatherings are streamed. Wednesday Bible study meets at 6:30 p.m. Casual clothing is welcome, and a guest-services desk offers coffee and practical help before worship.

Families can check infants through fifth graders into age-appropriate rooms during the Sunday service; the church says its children's volunteers are screened and its spaces are kept clean. During the school year, Adventure Club gives children another midweek option, while youth, men's and women's ministries, small groups, prayer, and outreach serve other stages of life. Faith Baptist meets at 8751 Fruitville Road, with visitor parking near the front entrance. The official weekly schedule is the best source for holiday changes and current nursery or children's availability.
