Holy Cross Catholic Church

About this church

Holy Cross Catholic Church celebrates Saturday Masses at 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., followed by Sunday Masses at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. and a Spanish Mass at 1:00 p.m. in St. Petersburg. Confession is offered Saturdays at 3:00 and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. The parish describes itself as a community of disciples nurtured by the Eucharist, with hospitality, music, outreach, and the presentation of Christ’s message shaping the weekend experience.

A family Mass is held at 10:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of each month from October through May. Faith formation, small groups, liturgical ministries, and service to homebound parishioners create ways to grow beyond Mass, while Hispanic-Latino ministry includes food, music, and cultural gatherings. The newcomer guide notes ample parking on both sides of the church, accessible entrances in front and back, a come-as-you-are approach to dress, and Catholic Communion guidance for non-Catholic visitors. Verify holy-day and summer chapel schedules before attending.
