St. Malachy Catholic Parish

About this church

St. Malachy Catholic Parish serves Tamarac with a multilingual weekend schedule. The Saturday vigil is at 5:30 p.m. in English; Sunday Mass is at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. in English, 12:30 p.m. in Spanish, and 2:30 in French-Creole. Daily Mass is at 8:30 a.m. in English and is livestreamed. Reconciliation is offered Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. This range lets visitors choose by language as well as time, while the livestream provides a way to follow daily worship remotely.

Religious-education classes meet Sunday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and lead directly into the 10:30 Mass, creating a practical weekly sequence for families preparing children for Penance, First Communion, or Confirmation. Parish ministries include extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, family formation, Haitian charismatic prayer, children's gatherings, and groups meeting on different weekdays. Because several of those ministries use the Little House, Parish Hall, school, or conference room, newcomers should confirm the room as well as the time. A first visit can be planned confidently from the Mass schedule; sacramental preparation and language-specific groups require direct registration or calendar review. Parish bulletins provide current exceptions.
