The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Vero Beach

About this church

Vero Beach Ward, the only congregation The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints lists for Vero Beach, Florida, meets at 3980 12th Street. The nearest other meetinghouse is in Fort Pierce, some fourteen and a half miles off.

Sunday service runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., an hour of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from ward members opening the meeting, and classes filling the second, Primary included for children. Nothing is asked of a guest financially; no collection plate circulates. Dress among the congregation ranges from formal to plain. Ten in the morning is this building's busiest stretch. Because a ward's schedule like this is managed locally and can shift from year to year, calling ahead of a first visit is a sensible habit.
