The Community Church of Vero Beach

About this church

The Community Church of Vero Beach is an ecumenical congregation founded in 1924 on the conviction that more unites people than separates them in worship. Grace Chapel, contemporary and sanctuary services, online worship, open Communion, children, youth, music and fine arts, preschool, pastoral care, and mission support an explicitly hospitable community for questions and diverse voices.

Sunday worship begins at 8:30 a.m. in Grace Chapel. At 10:30, C2 offers contemporary worship in Community Hall and a separate service meets in the Sanctuary; both stream online. Sunday School for pre-K through fifth grade meets in room 206 during the two 10:30 services, and parents provide contact details in case a child needs attention. The homepage advertises nursery care, but the children’s page says the church is currently seeking childcare candidates; families with infants through age three should confirm staffing rather than assume care is available. Communion is open to everyone and celebrated on the first Sunday each month; Baptisms normally occur on third Sundays. During the active season, high-school youth meets Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and middle-school youth Wednesday at 6:00. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, dress, worship duration, check-in security, volunteer screening, or when the youth season begins and ends.
