First Evangelical Lutheran Church

About this church

First Evangelical Lutheran Church worships Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in West Palm Beach and streams through YouTube. Services retain a Lutheran liturgical frame—Confession and Absolution, Scripture, creeds, and weekly Holy Communion—while music alternates between traditional hymns and praise selections. A praise team, choir, and guest soloists add variety, and two pastors alternate in preaching. The weekly bulletin supplies the complete order, readings, hymns, announcements, and current events.

Children come forward for a brief pastoral message and may leave for an age-appropriate lesson during the sermon before returning to worship. Broader ministry serves toddlers through teenagers with biblical teaching, Christian community, and age-based programs. The congregation’s purpose is to worship, serve, and grow as a Christ-centered community guided by Scripture and sharing grace with all. Visitors looking for historic Lutheran elements without one fixed musical sound will find that combination here: weekly Communion and creeds remain constant while the instruments, singers, and style rotate.
