Vineland Road Christian Fellowship

About this church

Vineland Road Christian Fellowship in Winter Garden is a non-denominational Pentecostal church with roots going back to the 1920s. Sunday begins with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. An evening worship service meets at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Worship blends modern songs with classic hymns, and the church says congregants may clap, say amen, or stand during the service. Sermons tend to run about 40 minutes, and the pastor typically closes by inviting anyone who wants prayer to come to the altar. Visitors receive a welcome gift with information about the church and are asked to fill out a communication card rather than pressured to give in the offering.

Children's Church for ages 4 to 12 meets during the morning service with a Bible lesson, songs, and a craft, and a nursery for ages 0 to 2 has a large viewing window into the room. Staff in both areas are described as screened with background checks. On Wednesdays, Coffee and Conversation begins at 6:30 p.m. and a small-group Bible study follows at 7 p.m., both in the Fellowship Hall. Sermon recordings are available online. Times can change, so confirm on the church website.
