Starlight Baptist Church

About this church

Starlight Baptist Church in Winter Springs begins Sunday Bible-study classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Morning worship and Children's Church start at 10:30, with adult choir rehearsal at 5:00 p.m. and evening worship at 6:00. Wednesday children's clubs begin at 6:45, followed by Bible study and midweek service at 7:00. Greeters in the foyer help visitors navigate the campus, which sits back from State Road 434 at the end of Hayes Road.

The independent Baptist congregation began in 1989 with thirteen people and held its first service that June. Worship combines music with teaching and preaching from Scripture, while age-specific ministries support families throughout the week. Nursery care for newborns through age two uses computerized check-in, authorized pickup labels, a paging system, and screened, trained volunteers. Preschool and elementary classes use songs, memory verses, crafts, and Bible lessons, and Patch the Pirate Clubs add music and discipleship for children. Visitors can expect a traditional full Sunday schedule, practical family safety procedures, and choices ranging from the education hour to morning or evening worship.
