Mount Pisgah Baptist Church

About this church

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church begins Sunday Belong Groups at 9:45 a.m., followed by its morning Worship Celebration at 11. Discipleship classes meet at 4:30 p.m. and evening worship at 6. The homepage provides a Sunday livestream link and notes that services end with an invitation to pray alone, with another person, or with the pastor. The South Cobb congregation describes worship as authentic, joyful, Spirit-led, and truthful, with prayer as the source of its life and mission.

Mount Pisgah seeks to know, equip, and send people for God's glory, envisioning worshipers from every language, people, tribe, and nation. Members express care through hospitality, prayer, service, kindness, and unity while committing to love their community without judgment. The church was constituted when thirteen people met in a log building and later became one of six founding congregations of the regional Baptist association. Its facilities have adapted repeatedly, including renovated classrooms, a kindergarten area, preschool rooms, and drive-in worship during the pandemic. The schedule page also contains a separate Sunday 2 p.m. Sunday School and 3 p.m. worship listing without explaining the audience, so visitors should confirm which ministry uses those afternoon times and ask about children, parking, and accessibility.
