Day of Grace Baptist Church

About this church

Day of Grace Baptist Church meets at 269 Saw Mill Road in Blairsville. Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m., Sunday worship at 11:00, and Wednesday classes at 6:30 p.m. Sunday School includes classes for all ages, with teachers preparing weekly Bible lessons for children, youth, and adults. The church also holds Vacation Bible School, youth nights, trips, and a fall festival, giving younger participants both teaching and social ways to become part of the congregation.

Founded in 2002 after original members gathered in an unused side of a gym, Day of Grace grew around a mission to preach the gospel, care for people who are sick, nurture young people, and serve families across the community. Its Goodies from the Heart program now works with other churches and organizations to send weekend food bags to approximately 280 Union County students who may depend heavily on school meals. Volunteers assemble items such as cereal, oatmeal, juice, crackers, and simple meals for discreet Friday distribution. Women's ministry also serves older adults, mothers, and children in need. The congregation identifies the King James Bible as foundational and links worship and discipleship directly with missions, outreach, and neighbor love.
