First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge offers Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:45, and evening worship at 6:00. Wednesday includes children's Bible study and choir at 5:45, youth and adult prayer and Bible study at 6:00, and worship-choir rehearsal at 7:15. A livestream provides access to the main worship gathering for people unable to attend onsite.

The atmosphere is casual and traditional, with clothing ranging from suits to jeans. Parking is on both sides of East First Street, accessible spaces are near the rear entrance, and greeters help visitors locate the sanctuary or age-based rooms. Children from birth through fifth grade check in at computers by the entrance; nursery care serves birth through age three during worship. Adult classes, missions, women's ministry, meals, and small groups extend congregational life. Families should arrive before 9:30 for Sunday School placement or before 10:45 for worship, using the rear entrance as the clearest first stop.
