Hardison Baptist Church

About this church

Hardison Baptist Church in Byron begins Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday worship at 11:00. A midweek Bible study meets at 7:00 p.m., alongside a Wednesday children’s Bible club at the same hour. Greeters help first-time visitors find their way, and the church asks guests to wear whatever feels comfortable; some regular attenders choose traditional church clothing, but formal dress is not required.

Families may use complimentary nursery care during worship, with vetted and trained workers serving babies in a bright, maintained space. School-age children have classes geared to their age and comprehension, as well as a Sunday children’s worship setting. The broader music ministry includes congregational singing, choir, small groups, instrumental selections, and soloists. Hardison’s student ministry serves teenagers and young adults into their early twenties through peer support, activities, retreats, and conferences. The official visitor guide also presents membership as a covenant involving baptism by immersion, accountability, service, and spiritual growth. Together, these details describe a Middle Georgia Baptist church with a straightforward Sunday schedule, dedicated care from infancy through young adulthood, varied musical participation, and clear expectations for people considering membership.
