1st Christian Church

About this church

1st Christian Church gathers at 306 College Street in Carrollton on Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. The church presents both hours as family-oriented services and offers 1st Kids for children from birth through fifth grade. On a family's first visit, a greeter leads the way to Kids Check-In, staff meet the household, and a matching identification system is used for pickup. Children's environments combine music, lessons, friends, and age-appropriate teaching, and an advance registration form can shorten the arrival process. Adults can use the church's visit-planning form if they want someone prepared to meet them.

Its mission is to make more and better followers of Jesus. The congregation's vision is multigenerational, multiethnic, and family focused, with commitments to keeping God first, authentic relationships, and work that rescues, restores, and reinforces lives. Life Groups gather in leaders' and participants' homes for Scripture, prayer, and relationships; options differ by age, life stage, and household makeup rather than following a single campus schedule. A visitor may choose either Sunday hour without changing the published children's age range. Parents who preregister should still allow time for the secure check-in handoff, while adults looking for community beyond worship can inquire about the group whose location and composition fit them best.
