First Baptist Church Chatsworth

About this church

First Baptist Church Chatsworth offers two Sunday worship styles. The 9 a.m. Celebration service is led by a praise band and modern Christian music; the 11 a.m. Foundation service features choir and orchestra in a traditional blend of hymns and contemporary songs. Sunday School meets at 10:10 with age-based classes that study biblical books in greater depth. Wednesday Bible study begins at 6:30 p.m. The congregation organizes its mission around gathering for worship and fellowship, growing through Scripture, and going into the community to share Christ's love and serve.

Children's ministry builds age-appropriate worship, prayer, and Bible lessons around a safe, Christ-centered environment. Preschool choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6 p.m., children's choir at 5:45, and the adult Sanctuary Choir from 5:30 to 6:30; the praise team rehearses from 7:30 to 8. Youth gather Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening, with Wednesday doors opening at 6 and worship beginning at 6:30 in the Youth Center. Small groups also meet during the week in different neighborhoods. The music ministry includes a Tuesday 10 a.m. Joy Singers choir for older adults and community outreach. Although the site gives a full rhythm of worship and groups, it does not explain service length, attire, parking, accessible entry, nursery ages, child check-in or screening, Communion, hearing assistance, or livestream access.
