New Providence Baptist Church of Columbus

About this church

New Providence Baptist Church of Columbus is a historic congregation whose official 2026 anniversary material marks 156 years of ministry, faith, and community impact. Its mission joins unified worship, clear Christian teaching, continued growth in faith, and service in Jesus’ name. Prayer gatherings, charity work, education, music, fellowship, and special revivals carry that mission beyond the two Sunday services.

Sunday services begin at 7:00 and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Bible study is offered at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., giving both daytime and evening options. The events page documents special schedules such as an Easter sunrise service, anniversary worship, and multi-night workshops, so visitors should distinguish those dates from the recurring weekly times. The site publishes two different weekday office-hour ranges; anyone needing administrative help should call rather than rely on one version. The corrected public name below adds “of Columbus,” matching the church’s own current wording and helping searchers distinguish this congregation from churches with the same name in other cities.
