Zion Baptist Church

About this church

Zion Baptist Church begins Sunday morning worship at 10:15 at 7037 Highway 212 in Covington. The blended service brings together classic hymns and praise choruses led by the Celebration Choir and Orchestra, along with prayer, preaching, and an invitation to respond. Designated guest spaces sit in front of the Worship Center and in the Family Life Center lot off Highway 212, although visitors may use any appropriate open space.

Sunday evenings begin at 5:00 with an evening service, Kids in Action, and Relentless Youth. On Wednesdays, youth gather at 6:00 while adult Bible study and prayer begin at 6:30. Students in grades six through twelve also have LifeGroup Sundays at 9:00. Children’s worship, choir, service projects, and Operation Christmas Child add family options, while the Community Clothes Closet gives the church’s service language a practical local expression. Zion says it wants to be a church its community cannot live without, emphasizing prayer, worship, spiritual growth, service, and dependable relationships. The official material is especially useful for families with teenagers: it identifies the student age range, three separate weekly meeting points, parking choices, and the musical character of the main service.
